A devoted practice for many years led Maxine to complete the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation course, where the philosophy emphasizes that yoga is so much more than a physical practice. On discovering the Jivamukti yoga method, Maxine immediately resonated with the ‘Hip and Holy’ practice and was very grateful to graduate as a 300hr Jivamukti teacher at the Govardhan Eco village in India under the guidance of co-founder Sharon Gannon.

Maxine has also more recently trained in Trauma sensitive Yoga with Fundación Radika and attends ongoing workshops and refinement courses with all her teachers. Her classes are created with an intention to raise the vibe, and are infused with dynamic sequences, thought provoking spiritual teachings, inspirational music, and lots of joy.
