Intro to Meditation: Meditation enables you to become more present and grounded in your life, leading to more peace and general contentment. Yogic breathing exercises (Pranayama) will enable you to arrive at a place of stillness, ultimately leading to a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.

What to expect: A mainly seated or reclining class, the first part will involve a series of clearly guided breathing techniques to help relax your body, heart rate and mind. As you settle into yourself, you will then be lead through a guided meditation, where you can watch your thoughts and emotions come and go without judgement. When you reach the space ‘between your thoughts’ you cease to identify with all the feelings that typical dominate your day, and you are able to connect with your ‘original’ unconditional self.
