Intro to Mandala Vinyasa: Mandala Vinyasa is a style of Vinyasa Flow that honours the idea of the circle, or Mandala. This means that in addition to having the postures seamlessly linked together, the Mandala aspect intertwines poses while circulating around the mat. Movements thus become more creative and fluid as the rhythm of the breath carries the practitioner into a state of dance and flow.

What to expect: You will be guided through a 75-minute open-level class that begins slowly, opening up the energy centres of the body. The teacher will gradually introduce the mandala, and as you repeat movements you will naturally find rhythm and grace. As the class progresses, the flow will come back to face the front of the room. With a slow descent into stillness, you will leave feeling balanced and refreshed.
